HP-48 Emulator for Android

For those of you who just loved your RPN HP48 graphing calculator and have an android phone, this app is for you.  Just looking at the screen brings back memories.  The developers have faithfully recreated the original calculator’s look and feel.  If you are a RPN fan, and you need a little more power than just a scientific calculator on your phone, then this is definitely worth a look.  From the developers:

HP 48 lives again on Android!

Emulator of the HP 48 scientific calculator, using RPN. Port of the X48 project (sources available on github). HP48’s “grayscale mode” cannot be emulated.

Visit www.hpcalc.org for a large program collection.

Cool tip: tap the HP’s LCD to show/hide a simpler numeric pad !

  1. There is an add-on program that was madre by trípod data systems for the hp48 sx. It is a surveying program called tds48. It is a ver y simple program written un kermit but very ver y useful still. Can someone extract this program from a tds48 expansión card and make it into an app? That would be so cool to have my data collecter hp48sx con the phone and connected to my total station.
